CKD-IMT accepts admission applications to a wide variety of technologically focused programs. Each year, CKD-IMT attracts many applications from prospective students, but admission is given only to meritorious, brilliant and outstanding students as the minimum eligibility criteria set by IKG PTU and allows only the eligible students to have the privilege of taking admission on merit basis in the institute.
For admission, kindly follow the steps:
1. Kindly contact the Admission Cell of CKD-IMT at it campus.
2. Students are required to fill the Admission form carefully with true information in their own handwriting.
3. They must read and understand all conditions given on the Admission Form carefully before submission.
4. Incomplete or wrong information in the form will be liable for the cancellation of admission of the student.
5. Complete the CKD-IMT Admission Form and attach the required supporting documentation to your application.
6. The Admission Cell will check the eligibility conditions and authenticity of the documents submitted.
7. You will be informed about your selection on the basis of your merit, after counseling.
8. Interviews, if required, will be conducted in person by counselors, normally in your state of residence.
9. You will be apprised of the final decision on your application.
10. The final admission is subject to approval by The university after verification of original documents.
The students seeking information at CKD-IMT may fill up the Registration/Admission Form on any day before the last date of admissions as announced by the university. The students should submit the Admission Form, relevant documents as given below for registration. If all the documents are received before the last date and are found in order (eligibility conditions, accounts clearance etc.), the student will be finally registered as per university norms. However, his/her admission will be confirmed after the eligibility conditions, original certificates and other supporting documents are verified by the university. Every student is expected to submit Admission Form and other documents as asked for, before the last day.
CHECK LIST OF ENCLOSURES
Kindly enclose originals and one attested copy of each certificate-
(a) Matriculation Certificate.
(b) 10+2 (for UG courses)/BA/B.Sc/B.Com/BCA/B.Tech etc (for PG courses)
(c) Detailed marks cards of 10+2/graduation Certificate.
(d) Polytechnic Diploma/DMC (in case of lateral entry in BCA)
(e) Character Certificate from Institution last attended
(f) Domicile Certificate
(g) CMAT/Result card in case of MBA course, if admission on the basis of CMAT score)
(h) Certificate in support of claim under reserved category
(i) Income certificate
(j) Migration certificate
(k) Residence Proof, preferably AADHAR card.
(l) Income affidavit on a specified format (in case of SC/ST/OBC students only)
GENERAL RULES REGARDING FEE STRUCTURE
The fee is payable at the time of admission and shall be as per guidelines of IKG Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. Though the student is liable to pay the entire fee on the day of admission, yet the college may allow instalments on application subject to genuine need of the student. It must be clear that the refund to the student will be as per university norms. If any student leaves studies in between the semester, he/she will have to pay the balance fee payable for the current semester, if not paid till date. A student once enrolled for a course is expected to complete the same. He/She may not withdraw from the college without permission of the Principal in writing after the commencement of the classes. Otherwise he/she will be liable to pay fees for the period his/her name remains on the rolls. The student is liable to pay fee for the current semester when the student has opted out.
BANK LOAN FACILITY
CKD-IMT , Tarn Taran facilitates every student for availing bank loan. As the college is approved by relevant authorities, the students are eligible to apply for bank loans. After the registration, every loan seeker will be issued a letter as per the requirements of the bank. However, final sanction of Education Loan will be the sole discretion of the concerned bank with respect to its rules and policies. The institution provides full support at its end.
